I have some pictures of my conversion of a 10x50 Bridgeport Clone here:

<http://www.smidgie.com/928/machineshop/comet/cnc1/> (X-axis)
<http://www.smidgie.com/928/machineshop/comet/cnc2/> (Quill)
<http://www.smidgie.com/928/machineshop/comet/cnc3/> (Y-axis

It just covers the mechanical conversion, not the electronics aspect. I thought I had a page on the controls but I can't find it.

If I was going to do it again, I'd convert the knee instead of the quill as I find the quill much more useful for the occasional manual use, although I guess manual use of the knee is good for my forearms. :D

Rockford Ballscrew has dropin X/Y/Knee screws for bridgeports I believe. No idea how much they cost nowadays.
