RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Bridgeport Series II Conversion
Cazuizen,
I used Chinese drivers (DM860) instead of Geckos and LinuxCNC instead of Mach but this link is my electronics retrofit of my Excello knee mill.

I went a much simpler route than the guy in your link and just bought a power supply from Antek. I didn’t have to use the 3 phase power and used nothing from the Excello except the steppers. The breakout board came with the steppers drives as part of an ebay package deal. My power supply was $150, the 4 drivers and BOB were $250. It is working fine for me.

Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Bridgeport Series II Conversion
Ive got a Bridgeport Series II, that I want/need to convert (change the drivers and other components) in order for it to work, I have a slight idea on how to do it as Ive seen this link Bridgeport Series II CNC Gecko/Mach3 Conversion, but it dosnt show any specifics on the wiring or diagrams, does anybody has any of that info? Any help and hints much appreciated it.
Thanks
