it would have been a great month by itself. I knew if I passed on the
work, it'd be gone forever. Now all I have to do is work 16+ hours a
day, 7 days a week until it's all done....
There's also nearly 2000 peices of pre-sized AL from DIX metals, a grand
worth of EDM work I'm subbing out, and nearly a grand in tooling. Still
going to be a good couple months however!
Off topic? If I'd had to take the "traditional" approach to starting
this business, I'd -never- have made it past a year.
Because I've taken the hobby route up, I've managed to do a lot with a
little. I'd never in any way knock those that simply want to tinker. But
for anyone thinking maybe they'd like to run their own life someday,
it's a viable way to start out.
I do kinda miss the look on potential customers faces when I'd tell them
that I could pick up my CNC mill with one hand (MaxNC)...<G>
