I would have no problem with 'useful' and free commercial stuff being placed
on the group server. One of the biggest hassles is trying to find sites
which have the relevant stuff and anything which brings it together in one
place has to be a good thing. Following a bunch of links to sites, then
through all their advertising and onto download pages with forms to fill out
etc. is just a ballache. Anything which will ease the passage to useful
files is OK by me and, whilst I have no immediate interest in servo drives
its quite likely I will have one day.
