want to use a toothed belt drive to get decent resolution. I have found
McMaster Carr to be a reasonable source of steel timing belt pulleys and the
belts. Purchased some from a local industrial supply house and ended up
paying about double what McMaster gets for the exact same Martin brand steel
pulleys.
