I believe this is used to describe systems where the operations are
specified by
selecting operations from menus (ie. rectangular pocket, round pocket,
drill bolt circle,
etc.) and filling in the blanks with coordinates. Some of the
operations can be specified
by pointing to corners, etc. on the screen with the cursor, such as to
set corner radius.
In other words, you don't write G-code, but you might see the G-code
being created
in a screen window. Or, it may be a system that does not use G-code,
uses a proprietary
language, or has no similar language that the user can access.
