it's geared more towards illustration than creating scale drawings) The
reason I say this is that if you are going to invest the time needed to learn
to use a CAD program effectively, you should invest that time in learning to
use a mainstream program like AutoCAD. Since your next thought will be, "But
I can't afford AutoCAD, or even AutoCAD LT!", let me direct you to:
http://www.cadopia.com/
From that site you can download a copy of IntelliCAD which is nearly a
perfect clone of AutoCAD including file compatibility. If you learn how to
use that, you will have a marketable skill in addition to a tool you can use
to draw motorcycle parts. I would suggest that after you get it installed,
that you turn off all the toolbars and learn to run the program by typing
your commands. The best and fastest AutoCAD drafters I know do it this way
and you'll also be able to use earlier versions of AutoCAD that don't have a
pushbutton interface. If only this program would be ported to Linux, it would
be the perfect CAD program.
Good Luck,
Matt
P.S. What kind of motorcycle?
