Do museums regularly buy there? ;o} Somewhere in the garage I also have a
very early wire memory - all steel wire and ferrite beads, goodness only
knows how old that is, or how much it held, probably about 256 bytes or so!
I think the place I worked are just replacing the building management system
I put in in 1980 which used bubble memory, why that never caught on more I
don't know. That machine has been running 24/7 since 1980 with only one
hiccough on the memory in all that time - that's what I call reliable.
