Lathe Software.

I wrote to Kelly at: www.kellyware.com , and asked him if there was any
possibility that his KCAM software would be, or could be modified for lathe
operation. I received the following answer, and with his permission I
include it here.

I hope that some of the list members will outline what it would take to
modify a mill program to handle lathe work, or what is needed in a new
program.

What features are needed, and how do they differ from mill programs?
What features are the minimum required, and what luxury features are needed.

I look forward to a good discussion of this on the list.

For anyone that has not downloaded his KCAM program it is a nice looking
piece of work, mill is not up and running yet, so can't run it unfortunately.
Is anyone running it?
