Annybody know of a good source for Ironless (moving coil) DC-motors???
They can be of either moving basket or moving disc type. And they have to
have a torque of more than 150 zo-in (at least more or less). They should
(hopefully) be rated for more than 150 Watt.
The point is that they need to be fast and have low inertia.
I have found a few, but they are EXPENSIVE!!!!!
Anybody know of anny surplus???
Types of interrest are:
Electro-Craft M-1440
Pacific Scientific 4VM82/62 XXX
Micro Switch 4VM62
Yaskava S-12-B
Or annything similar (or bigger for that mater).
No encoders needed (but I dont mather if they are already there!).
