Dave - Hi!
Yes I own a Microkinets system, and I haven't used it in several years but
right now I'm waiting on them to produce a Windows version of their motion
control software - for their mill control. In general, I'd say they put out
a good product, especially for a customer who own a small shop or works at
home like I do. All the controller cards, drive racks and electronics appear
to be of very good quality. One problem I recently ran into was the fact
that the largest part program is limited to about 60K in file size.
I have a small Shereline lathe, with one of their conversion packages, here
again no problems that I can tell and every thing worked as advertised. But
I must state that I am not a professional machine operator.
I hope this helps,,,
