Stan,
I have a 3-Axis controller board kit available. Its very similar.
Uses the same chip. (UCN5804B) I've attached a picture of the kit and the
assembled board. My Web page SHOULD have been up today...But...
The cost of the kit is $44.95 plus $5.00 shipping and handling. 1 board to
control 3 motors.
Specifications:
3 Axis Unipolar (Motor) control. Individual OR simultaneous control of 4
Phase Stepper Motors.
35 volts maximum input voltage.
1.25 Amps per Phase Continuous with 1.5 Amps at start up.
Wave drive (1 coil energized at a time), Two-Phase (2 coils energized), and
Half Step Modes.
Step and Direction Control.
Power On Reset.
Internal Thermal Shutdown to prevent permanent damage.
On board voltage regulation for 5-volt logic from motor power supply.
Limit (Over Travel) switch on board connection.
X, Y, Z Home up switch on board connections.
Kit Contents:
1- 3" x 4.2" Etched and Drilled Printed Circuit Board
3- UCN5804B 16 Pin Dual Inline Package IC (STATIC ELECTRICTY SENSITIVE!)
3- 16 Pin Dual Inline Package Socket
12- IN5404 3A 400V Diodes
3- 4.7K 8 Pin Single Inline Package Resistor Network
4- 4.7K (Yellow Violet Red Gold) 1/4 Watt Resistor
2- .01uF 50 Volt Capacitor
1- 10uF 50 Volt Electrolytic Capacitor
1- 78M05FA 5 Volt Regulator
3- 2 X 2 Pin Header
6- Jumper Shunts
1- 6" Long Buss Wire
3- Heat Sinks
1- DB25 Pin Male Connector (Solder Type)
1- 12 Conductor Ribbon Cable
1- Instructions
Tools Required For Assembly:
15-25 Watt soldering pencil
.032 Rosin core solder
Side cutters
Pliers
400 Grit Sandpaper
