Jan is basically right about everything he says regarding your motors,
BUT, if you want to try:
Dan Hudgins, developer of Dancad3d/Dancam/Danplot has used these
motors in a mill/drill retro-fit. It works pretty well. If you can
live with 100-300 rpm, he may be a place to try for advice.
The software is shareware: try http://www.metalworking.com
His fully documented package, approx $180 includes much info.
Including the use of these motors.
He MAY also help you through his website, http://www.dancad3d.com ,I
think.
