accu-rite scales

I found two accu-rite DRO scales on a trashed EDM table at a salvage
yard.. Can these be used for the PC-based DRO systems?
They are 12" each and the wires are snipped. I couldn's see any
model numbers. What are they worth? New, listed for about 300 bucks
each!!
Advice?
