I will shortly be joining the club as well. As an update from the post #
11243 where I posted I was looking for a CNC mill in the UK I got in touch
with a firm near Blackpool who had just took two out to replace these with
a machining centre.
We arrived at a deal and I bought both of them [ do I deserve a medal ?? ]
We have a few problems in the UK at the moment over fuel shortages but when
this is resolved later next week I have got a truck with a Hiab crane to go
up and fetch these.
Both are long bedded machines which is what I was looking for. One is on
steppers with a Posidata Controller and the other Beaver is on servo's with
a Fanuc 5M controller and 16 tool ATC.
The stepper one is running but the Servo one has a bad spindle speed
control board.
I have had dealings with these before and with a modern invertor the board
isn't needed.
I now need a 5.5Kw 440v invertor
