Once I get folder up

Ok Group once I get my folder up and running I will post the pics of
my DRO I am asking for help in finding parts or ways of fixing
it .Just a question I have an encoder that I may be able to use if I
can't use these . There is enought people in the group that may point
me the right way in fixing this thing insted of chucking it out .
Question
Can one get all the parts to build new encoders for the
scale
the first thing I want to do is check to make sure all wires are
still good . how do you check that the diodes still work .A friend
gave me a whole bunch of electronic testing equipment I will check
it all out and see what I have .. thanks group " I
