Electric Motor Repair

I bought a copy of Rosenburg's "Electric Motor Repair" for 14
bucks. It is the 1947 edition and they had a 1960 edition for more
money.
Am I missing alot by not having a newer edition? I can go back and
get the newer edition but I want to make sure it's worth the extra
money.
