Terry,
You just got yourself into a 5 axis stance. You could limit the tilt
to being preset and only need a 4th(c axis) to rotate the tilted
torch in the correct direction.
Adding a 4th axis is pretty easy. Adding a 5th...
Problem is stiffness and control.
You're a little ahead in that you don't need to deal with much in the
way of cutting forces, and the weight of the torch is pretty
low,BUT...
The CAD/CAM/CONTROL s/w needed just added a digit(maybe two!!) in the
dollars needed value.
