manufacturing. It is the 'visualization model' implimentation of an
MIT-patented powder-based process that can make many kinds of internal
features for which LOM is not really suited, and conventional
machining is not possible.
Taking collectively, these techniques (3DP, SLA, SLS, LOM, etc) are
known as Rapid Prototyping, or Solid Free-Form Fabrication.
