I use Bobcad/CAM (ver 16.1), and have made a few small changes in the
setup
menu to put the desired G-codes in at the beginning of a program.

Other than that, there is NO other program needed, as both the CAD and
CAM
functions are integrated into it. I chose this specifically because I
was not
really up to speed on mechanical CAD/CAM, and wanted to make sure the
CAM would be fully compatible with the CAD system.

I use FTP programs to send the CAM file from the Win 95 machine with
Bobcad to the RT-Linux machine with emc.
