IMService has started a public beta test of the new software program
Vcarvz. It is an accessory to Vector cam as well as having the
ability to save DXF tool paths for use in other Cad-Cam programs.
The basis for Vcarvz is the technology developed for Vfontz a program
that carves Tru-Type font letters with a V-tipped cutter. In
addition to incising letters, Vcarvz will also allow you to import
flat DXF files containing closed contours. These contours can be
combined with lettering objects to produce a layout. Vfontz then
develops a tool path to carve out the entire scene with V-tipped
cutters.
Through November 22, all are invited to tryout the program, offer
suggestions and report deficiencies. It is expected that the
significant others of those in our beta testing program will benefit
due to the nearness of the holiday season and the increased
likelyhood of receiving personalized gifts during this special time
of the year. ;-)
There is no charge and no obligation. The program information can be
found at our web site at: http://www.vectorcam.com
There is a forum, download area and a brief description of the
program. Enjoy & thanks in advance for the insight that many will
provide us with.
