Bearing mounting revisited

I've just posted a file in jpg format that shows a REALLY simple way
to support your ball screw shaft and bearings. This design allows
the user to use any type of bearing(s) desired. Just size the parts
to suit the bearings. No counter bores are required. The amount of
preload...if any... is set by simply fitting the thickness of the
part marked "BEARING HOUSING". If you are concerned about having the
bearings farther apart for wider support, simply add a spacer between
the bearings.
