I was cruising around looking for something else and came across
the BW Electronics site. http://www.bwelectronics.co.uk/
Found these:
Precision leadscrew, length 36", threaded 32", thread 3/4" 10 tpi
with large floating nut, new. £30
Ballscrew, length 38.1/2", threaded 35.1/2", thread 1" 5 tpi with
nut, new. £30
Precision leadscrew off a J&S grinder, length 32", threaded
11.1/2", thread 1" 10tpi with 3.1/2" long bronze nut. £12
Looks like he only has one of each, but the price doesn't look
too bad.
