Forget the 486 - there are memory architecture differences that make it
a mess (or worse) to try to run EMC on a 486.

I got a 100 MHz Pentium classic motherboard with CPU, heatsink, fan,
and 16 MB of memory for about $25 on eBay! There are plenty of
people selling these machines at about this sort of price. I put the
MB, etc. into an old 486 cabinet I had.
