some years ago I read a review for one of these. The reviewer said he
first tossed the manual aside and just dug in digitizing an apple.
His result was, as he described it, "like a fission fried prop from 'the day after' "
He then read the manual and discovered that there's quite a technique to using
the thing. Apparently the company selling them had a long tutorial, and
after doing the tutorial he displayed the reasonable model of an apple he'd made.
