VERY good point! And not just ECMA!

If you have decided to purchase some "standard", BE SURE to "shop
around".
MANY standards are published by more than one person or organisation.
Some are due to international agreements, others due to "licensing".

Some will be the same document NUMBER, others will be the same
DOCUMENT, with a different number.

I have saved thousands of dollars by carefully choosing WHICH legal
copyright holder to buy from! And using libraries to decide WHAT to
buy. (some standards are garbage! And the SIZE/number of pages often
has no relation to the asking price!!!)
