Well, I'm still stuck in the Pascal camp, myself. I've written
a couple of rather large packages in Turbo Pascal (one of them
accepts a flavor of G-code, namely Gerber files for generation
of PC board artwork). I could have NEVER gotten this working
in plain C or (ha ha ha Basic!) C++ (if I ever learn all the features
of it) would probably handle it.
