Hi there !
In my very first mail, - I asked a few questions. I got some
answers, but a few remains.
1. Digitizer tablets:
I have found something on the Graptech, - but not on the CALCOMP
2200.
Does anyone out the do any work in CAD ? Well, look and see if you
use a CALCOMP tablet, and let me know if you have any software
driver, or other info on it. The CALCOMP 2200 is a little old, and
they don't have it listed on their web site. It is possible to
download drivers for the CALCOMP 2500, and newer models.
2. Cad software:
Can anyone direct me to any Cad software that run under Linux ?
3. Lasers:
I wanted to make some "fringes" - but my laser died on me. I need a
new one.
Why would anyone want increments in nanometers, anyway ?
As for scanning:
Robert N. Ash wrote: Anyhow,, I have wondered if a Kluge could be
......
What is a Kluge ?
4. EDM:
Where can I find some simple info about it ? What kind of materials
can it be used for ? How fast will it cut ? What about the
finnished surface - is it smooth ?
Where do I find some simple introduction to this tech ?
