Hi,
Ballendo, great idea. I just created your "Circuits" folder in the
files section and placed the G320 Block Diagram there.
Both the G201 and the G320 can use a daughterboard (G901 internal
name) that turns them into G210s and G340s respectively.
The G901 is a wide-range phased-locked loop (PLL) circuit that
synthesizes 1, 2, 5 or 10 evenly distributed output pulses for every
STEP pulse it receives. These are then sent on to the main drive.
At very low STEP pulse rates, (below 10 PPS) the synthesized pulses
are output as bursts. The motor still moves without vibration because
the energy for a full step is spread out temporally in 10 increments.
