Plea for Courtesy

Since my in-jest posting did not seem to really be appreciated, I
will repeat the same message, but put it in plain English.

There are 3 methods to receive this listserve
1)On the internet via a Web Browser
2)Via e-mail for every message
3)Via Digest for every 25 messages.

Some people find the WWW service from a dial up ISP to be extremely
slow & that it takes a lot of time to click into each and every
single message to read it.

I happen to be one that gets several hundred e-mails a day & it is
much more convenient to peruse 4 e-mails to read digests of 25
messages each than to try to sort out the opening reading and tossing
of the 100 or so messages per day that are presently coming out of
this group.

My previous in-jest posting was as a result of receiving message
#15927 on the WWW. This message had approximately 10 full screen
pages to deliver a 6 line response. Now on the WWW this is easy to
ignore teh wasted text at the bottom of the message, but in e-mail
digest form, it preceeds the next message, and if there are 5-10 out
of 25 like that the messages become useless.

It would be greatly appreciated if those posting responses would
remove all but the minimum required to understand who & what are
being responded to. It is generally not useful to repost the footers
of the e-groups as they are always sent out with all e-mails and also
show up on the web site.

I for one would be very appreciative if those of you who are
presently responding with excessive reposting of previous messages,
would exercise some restraint. Thank you for your cooperation and
for extending this courtesy to those of us who are stuck at the end
of a slow dial up network.

P.S. What wrong side of the bed, I never got a chance to SEE the bed
that allnighter.

Best Regards,
