Good thinking, breaking it down.
I'd hit him up on that, except someone just emailed me and turned me on
to Forward Air. I'd seen references to this before on the net, but
didn't realize it was an actual company. Just got off the phone, was
quoted a grand total of $87 from Atlanta to Sacramento. I just need to
get it from the seller to the terminal and if he doesn't want to do
that, Forward Air recommended three Atlanta companies that specialize in
this sort of thing.
I don't think they'll ship bargin Series II Bridgeports, but for anyone
wanting to ship smaller but heavy stuff, the number is 800-726-6654.
Ask for Kathleen. Very nice. She used to work for Hobart in assembly,
and is actually considering going to school to become a machinist!
