It is my hope, at some point have tool change and rigid taping with this
spindle design. I am working with a minimill that I designed and built, so
the spindle motor is dc not ac. I have no idea how to build a VFD, I looked
into it once, but I am not that electronicly capable yet. Wish I could share
more, but I am not very far along yet, so if I say much more I would be
speculating. I will be modifying the kerr pic servo programs to control
spindle synch with z axis moves for tapping.
