I certainly stand corrected, I missed the little period.
But, if you just use the kernel files on the CD you will get a good patch
and kernel. While I am sure it is possible to load the newer kernel rpm
files and then get it to patch and compile, using the ones on the CD is
easier and with the scripted install it seems to be virtually guaranteed to
work first try.
