If you have a 3-phase motor you can run it at 400 Hz and go 8 times faster
- sorry, I forgot that you have an odd mains frequency over there - 6.66667
times faster. If you have a single phase motor it's not quite so simple, in
general you can only run a single phase motor at it's designed frequency.
