Folks,
In the Oct/Nov issue of Machinist's Workshop, Steven Scampini
published an article about using a computer/printer to print layouts
of connectors, etc, that would be used for chassis's and such.
I think it is a good approach to making professional looking power
supplies and other electrical boxes for our tools. I'm wondering if
anyone knows of a web site or other source that may have drawings of
connectors and other components available for use. This would save a
lot of time if each user did not have to draw up each individual
component in a CAD program. For those who already have a mill up and
running the drawings could be converted for cutting the parts
directly.
I'm thinking there may be electronic sites with this type of info
available, maybe clip art sources, or add-on packages for common CAD
programs (though these would undoubtably not be free).
Thanks
Terry
