I now have a 12x36 lathe and plan to add a milling machine. What
complicates the decision is my interest in CNC machining. I have AutoCAD
and a spare PC. My ultimate goal is to design a part in AutoCAD and, via
middleware software and a motion controller do 2 axis profiling in aluminum,
using my AutoCAD.dxf file for profile data.
My question is, who makes a benchtop or knee-mill that may be easily fitted
with CNC drive motors and controller?
