I have partly put apart the renishaw probe at work and I can assure you that
it works with two terminals Just open or close, the fancy thing is that the probe
is wireless
it has a number of infrared led that transmit the data (on,off ) to a lens mounted
on the side of the machine out of the way of everything ,connected to it is a wire
that goes all the way to the machine panel were the probe interface is.
