Joe,
If you read the FAQ on the Clisby site they claim to be the creators of the
Sherline design and sold it to the present manufacturer when their real
business got in the way of the mill/lathe. This is there return to the
machine industry with something that will not compete with Sherline.
I agree on the tiny window, but to learn it seems fine and if you replaced
the spindle with something high speed I bet it would be a mean PCB drill
rig.
