This is a bit overwhelming to me, and I want to thank everyone involved with
the list.
It is hard to realize that we have came this far in less than two years, and
also to realize that this list came as a result of my frustration trying to
find much on the net, and the hearing problems that I experienced at the
NAMES Seminar.
I would like to remind all the lurkers and new members that you will find
list information at the bottom of each post. I would suggest you start with
the FAQ.
For the new members, we have skill levels of all types on this list. Also
students, machinists, mechanics electrical and electronic engineers, software
engineers, and all of these people have answered freely questions that have
been asked of them.
If you don't ask you will not get the full benefit of the list and what these
guys have made of it. I started the list, but it was and is all the members
that have made us grow, and become such an all encompassing place.
If you have anything to sell mention it in a posting, but do the business
offline.
The one solid rule is no Flaming or Flame wars, retribution is swift and
final, this is a wonderful bunch of guys and we will not allow it to be
destroyed.
Hope to see a lot of you at NAMES this year, and will be at Cabin Fever this
year.
Again thanks to a bunch of wonderful guys that have made this old mans idea
the premier list that it is.
