All this about belts, gears, and Berg. Why not consider one or more of the
Berg "Min-E-Pitch" type cable-chain arrangements which are a combination of
"gear" AND "belt", and there is NO backlash (when arranged properly), and NO
noise due to the polyurethane overmold. FINE stuff, if very, very, very
over-priced!
