First, I was in no way meaning to squelch discussion on the digitizer
thread, just making a quip that it has gone on a long time. It has had a
lot of good info, and is certainly on topic for this group. So keep on
digitizing...
Also, I was not attacking one-lines, I agree they often have a good use.
But I do still think a one-liner with 3 pages of quoting 3 or 4 levels
deep is a bit unnecessary.
In a forum with low activity, or something like a news group with more
chaotic delivery quoting serves an important purpose, but on a list like
this with high activity, and very reliable delivery of each message, the
quotes do get in the way of the thread.

I just finished my Sherline rotary table and got the CABIN FEVER 2001
legend engraved on the giveaway item we are going to make at the show.
If many kids visit us at CABIN FEVER and watch our machining demo we are
sure going to annoy a lot of parents with the giveaway :-)
