Microkinetics has good service (other than refusing to honor their
money-back guarantee) but their products leave a lot to be desired. The
Millmaster software is great but only works with their Optistep board. The
Optistep board has several bugs in the firmware. The feedrate override
affects the ramping rate and causes the motors to stall under some
conditions. There is no ramping in jog mode, making the board useless with
large motors.

In short, I would not buy their products again.

You will be much happier with CNCPro and will save about $500 in the
process.
