Steve,
Now I'm SURE I would use the cable drive. Contain it in one "stick"
above the doors (includes upper track/guide). Two "pocket panels",
with doors inside for transport, complete the setup.
On site, fasten upper track "stick" to pocket panels. The cable "stops"
(could be shaft collars) would then sit in a recess at the top of the
door(s). If the recess included a spring, the pinch factor is gone.The
circle of the cable will actuate BOTH doors with one motor...
Cheap, fast acting, quiet, durable, safe, easy.
