Oops: the Newport tables have a Q of 10 at 250 Hz. That would be excited
by a 15000 rpm spindle. Too bad. At other frequencies Q approaches 1.
It would be interesting if the damping material could be water slowly
flowing between some tubes. This might help keep the structure isothermal.
