It came with Supercam; later I upgraded to the 4 axis controller, which
added MaxNC. Even more recently, the UK distributor of Taig CNC mills has
made a deal with Dolphin to sell their 2.5D CAD/CAM software in a special
version for the Taig (only allows 1 post processor, but that need not be
the Taig post - so it could be a bargain for people running other machines
too...I believe that Taig sells the Dolphin software in the US now as
well). See:

http://www.quantumcnc.co.uk/Programming.htm

for the Dolphin spec.

So far, most of the time I have used Supercam - mostly because I have not
done terribly much machining since acquiring Dolphin. As Supercam only
handles 3 axes, the 4 axis controller has been a little redundant & I have
run my 4th axis by substituting it for the X or Y axis as
appropriate. Dolphin has (limited) 4 axis support, so will avoid the plug
swapping I have to do at the moment.

Tony
