Bridgeport CNC Series I

With the previous thread about Bridgeport Series I CNC machines, I
hope no one minds this post.

I have for sale a Bridgeport Series I Rigid Ram machine for sale.
The current control is a fully working BOSS 5. The machine has remote
controlled spindle lock, variable speed, one shot oiling, and cooling.

Spindle is 30 taper and comes with various tooling, as well as a
bridgeport 6" milling vice. It is set up with RS232 communication and
comes with all cables and all manuals and spare maintenance parts.

This machine is not a rusted piece of equipment but is in excellent
condition and has been well maintained. I will post some photos this
week-end.

If anyone is interested, please contact me off list before Monday as
I will be putting it up for Auction then. The price is $2,900.00 and
I will load it at no charge. If you have a small benchtop mill, I
would be willing to talk about a partial trade.

One note: It will not fit under a 'standard height garage door'. To
get it in my garage, I had to remove head, slide the mill in, and
replace the head. This is about a 1 to 2 hour job, depending on the
equipment at hand. Also, unless you are very adventerous, putting one
of these in a basement would be extremely exciting.
