I ask my wife, a library media specialist, the question and she echoed the line above about size of pic and 75 dpi.
She has a Cannon powershot 850. No longer made......but overkill for web stuff. He comment was that a $100 cheapie would do fine
for web stuff. The technology is changing so fast and prices are falling (nice side of the curve to be on) unless you have
inventory that you almost cannot go wrong.
Remember shopping can be fun. ;-)
