Geez, I like yer approach, mate. Minimize the unknowns, test out JUST
the hardware/encoder stuff, worry about the program's DRIVER later. BUT
still test out Rhino's basic point cloud handling, since you'd expect
whether it got the points from some interface OR a file, the method and
results should be the same. Sounds right to me.

The only thing I'm wondering about is, IF the driver interface actually
expects fully calculated 3-D points, or just takes the angle info from
the arm hardware, and does the calcs itself.
