Hello,
You can run this motor on single phase with a "static" phase
converter. The better units will have BOTH a start AND a run
capacitor. Last one I made had 90 bucks in parts, but these were ALL
new parts: Box, potential relay, start cap, run cap, misc wires and
push on terminals.
There are several websites on the net which show how to do this. It's
simple and works well.
