New member ??? please forgive any ignorance i may demonstrate here

I recently decided to purchase a small (chinese veritical mill) and
conver it to a more usefull cnc machine. I am not expecting .0001
accuracy, I know i am not likely to get it. I have most electronics
and other hardware ready to go. the final wireing is all that i am
missing, before I can begin assembly. the problems i am incurring are
simple (i think) the wireing for the limit - home switches i haven't
found any information on also i need to know where i can find cheap
timing pulleys and i need some information on positioning hardware
for the drill type spindle that goes with these cheap drill mill
machines.

the mill is a 1/2 hp 6"x16" table with z axes travel of about 3.5" it
is basically a heavy duty drill (430lbs)press with an x/y table
i am trying to use 160oz steppers and a camtronics 3 axes stepper
driver board. also has anyone had any luck with stepster for the
machine control software ???

thanks dennis
